Motion Changes Emotions: How to Achieve Big Goals by Changing Your Mindset
Why Are You Not Achieving Your Goals?
If you’re constantly falling short of your goals, both personally and professionally, it’s time to ask yourself a serious question:
“Am I repeating the same actions expecting a different result?”
If the answer is yes, then it’s no surprise you’re stuck. Repeating the same method over and over won’t lead you to a new destination. Success requires a new approach—and that starts with your mind.
Want Different Results? Change Your Mindset.
Your mindset drives your actions. But here’s the catch: your mindset won’t change unless you change your physiology first. That means:
- Move your body
- Walk
- Meditate
- Exercise
- Pray (Namaaz)
- Adopt powerful postures
When you physically move, you send new signals to your brain, which begins to function differently. This creates a ripple effect: new thoughts → new decisions → new actions → new results.
The Power Position: Backed by Science
Let’s talk about something called the Power Position. You’ve probably seen superheroes stand tall with their hands on their hips. That’s not just style—it’s science.
According to a Harvard study, and brought into the mainstream by motivational speaker Tony Robbins, standing in a “power position” for just 2 minutes can:
- Increase testosterone (confidence hormone)
- Decrease cortisol (stress hormone)
This hormonal shift improves your mood, reduces anxiety, and makes it easier to take bold, radical decisions. It literally rewires your brain to act differently.
Don’t Repeat Failure
Many people fail not because they lack talent or resources—but because they don’t change their approach. They keep using the same failed tactics, expecting success to magically appear.
Here’s the formula:
Same Thinking → Same Action → Same Result
To break the cycle:
New Thinking → New Action → New Result
And to think differently, you must move differently.
Move, or Be Moved
Your body and mind are deeply connected. When you change your physical state, your mental state follows. This is why I always say:
“Move, or else you will be shaken.”
Don’t wait for failure or crisis to force change. Proactively create a shift—physically and mentally.
Final Thought: Stop Choosing the Same Broken Path
There are many ways to achieve a goal. But sticking to a failed method just because it’s familiar is a recipe for failure. It’s time to reprogram your thoughts, change your physiology, and take the first step toward real transformation.
